Tsimouris Dimitrios possesses a post-graduate degree from the Department of Physiotherapy in Lamia. He holds a master’s degree from the Department of Medicine in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation (2020) of the Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a PhD candidate in the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica with a dissertation entitled “The effect of mobilization techniques on the diaphragm mobility in people with asthma. His main interests focus on cardiorespiratory rehabilitation and specifically on the study of the respiratory muscles. He has participated voluntarily as a research member in programs aimed at improving the respiratory capacity and the physical and mental health of patients with cardiorespiratory diseases under the auspices of the National Kapodistrian Univesity of Athens and the University of Thessaly. He is a certified resuscitator in Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS) and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) by the Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (2021). He has given lectures to undergraduate students from the Physiotherapy Department in Athens and has worked as a physiotherapist in Greece’s private and public sectors.
