Tatsios Petros, is a Ph.D. candidate since September of 2020 in the Physiotherapy Department of the University of West Athens with a dissertation topic: “The impact of manual therapy in the cervical spine and diaphragm in conjunction with respiratory exercises and breathing re-education in patients with nonspecific chronic neck pain” No Decision 18/03.09.2020. Alongside, he is working in his private physiotherapy clinic in Glyfada.
He is a physiotherapist, holds a Master of Science degree in “Metabolic Disease of the Bones” National Kapodistrian University- Medical School of Athens, and a Master of Science degree in “Clinical Ergospirometry, Exercise Advanced Technology, and Rehabilitation” National Kapodistrian University- Medical School of Athens.
His research and clinical interest are in the Musculoskeletal field and he specialized in Manual Therapy. He graduated from the Scientific Subgroup “Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy- OMT GREECE” of the Panhellenic Physiotherapy Association and he became a clinical instructor in Manual Therapy, certified by IFOMPT, till nowadays.
He is “Certified Mulligan Practitioner” (degree) and certified in Dry Needling by David G. Simons Academy (degree). He has participated in numerous (>20) conferences and courses in Greece as a guest speaker or as an auditor abroad. Also, he has relevant publications in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy in international peer-reviewed journals and he is a member of the Laboratory of the Advanced Physiotherapy University of West Attica.
