Mr Christos Pippas is a PhD candidate at the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica (UniWA), Athens, Greece, with his thesis subject on “Exercise parameters that reduce the return to play time in amateur athletes with long-standing adductor-related groin pain”. He is a member of the Laboratory of Advanced Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica. As a PhD candidate, he teaches the subjects of Kinesiology-Biomechanics I and Kinesiology-Biomechanics II at the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica. Holds an MSc title in Sports Medicine from the University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom. He is a certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists). He has worked at sports clubs and physiotherapy clinics (Olympiacos FC, Panathinaikos AC, Palliniakos AC, Olympiada Kifisias AC, IASO General etc). He has worked on a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions in the clinical area as well in research. He has attended educational seminars and conferences in the field of Physiotherapy.
