Dr Stefanos Karanasios is a post-Doctoral researcher in the Physiotherapy department of the University of West Attica. He is a specialist musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with 18 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation. He holds a PhD in Rehabilitation from the Physiotherapy Department, University of West Attica, Greece; an MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy, University of Birmingham, UK; MSc in Hand Therapy, University of Derby, UK; a BSc in Physiotherapy from ATEI of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has been teaching Kinesiology for three years as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Physiotherapy, University of West Attica He has more than 10 years’ experience in teaching postgraduate sports and MSK specialization courses. Stefanos has published more than 20 original publications in peer reviewed journals. His research interest is focused on blood flow restriction training, tendinopathies, manual therapy, MSK rehabilitation, systematic reviews, and clinimetrics.
