Proven use of best practices in the management of a variety of health conditions, knowledge of trends in assessment technology, and research results awareness are among the factors that build a culture of continuous scientific improvement for Physiotherapists. On behalf of our Educational and Administrative staff, I welcome you to the website of the Postgraduate Study Program “New Methods in Physiotherapy” of the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health and Care Sciences, University of West Attica (UniWA). Our curriculum is adapted to the modern developments in the science of Physiotherapy and new emerging techniques, so that our graduates have sufficient skills to build a successful career. It is a fact that new skills will create new jobs. In the effort for progress, the goal of this MSc is the assurance of the quality of the education and the provision of continuous support in every professional and scientific inquiry of its graduates. We aim to bridge the gap between the worlds of education and work and take initiatives to promote better predictions of vital future skills needs. Our program is committed to promoting the profession of physiotherapy through the encouragement of high-quality physiotherapy research and education, the information exchange between university departments, research centers, Greek physiotherapy bodies (associations, organizations, structures) and in general in cooperation with national and international organizations. We seek the continued support and assistance of the physiotherapy community to achieve our mutual goal.
