Mrs. Aphrodite Evaggelodimou is an Academic Scholar at the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica (UniWA), Athens, Greece. She participates in teaching the courses Clinical Education in Respiratory and Cardiovascular Diseases and Respiratory Physiotherapy.

She holds an M.Sc in Exercise Biology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and is a PhD candidate in Exercise Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) – School of Physical Education and Sports Science. She has worked as a Physiotherapist in the Physiotherapy Laboratory of UoA and in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at the ‘Evangelismos’ Hospital.

She has participated in studies at the Laboratory of Respiratory Function and Exercise at the Research Center for Intensive and Emergency Medicine Thorax (THORAX) as well as at the Physiotherapy Laboratory of the UoA.

She has participated in the National Pilot Program for the Prevention and Promotion of the Health of the Elderly – ΗΠΙΟΝΗ on the topic: “Healthy Breathing – Prevention and Management of Infections in the Elderly”.

Main interests: Respiratory Physiotherapy, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Respiratory Physiotherapy in Neurological Patients, Respiratory Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Diseases.
